NOT ALL PLASTIC IS THE SAME
America’s beverage companies are carefully designing our plastic bottles to be 100% recyclable (including the caps!). Our bottles are made from PET, a lightweight and strong material that when recycled, can be used to make new bottles.
Our PET bottles can be remade into new bottles again and again, and that can reduce our use of new plastic.
USING LESS NEW PLASTIC
Did you know nearly 2 out of 3 bottles included recycled plastic in 2022? And some of your favorite beverages are now available in bottles that use no new plastic at all.
PET IS NOT LIKE OTHER PLASTICS
Our plastic beverage bottles are accepted in recycling programs in all 50 states. We are committed to getting our bottles back so they don’t end up in nature.
Our Progress
From 2018 – 2022, the industry’s plastic footprint declined 7.7%.
The amount of recycled plastic in our bottles nearly tripled over four years.
