Our Bottles Are Made To Be Remade
Every day, consumers enjoy a wide variety of our beverages at home, at work and on the go. We love giving our consumers the convenience of plastic bottles – but we also care about reducing plastic waste in our environment.
That’s why America’s beverage companies – The Coca-Cola Company, Keurig Dr Pepper and PepsiCo – are making 100% recyclable bottles and caps and working hard to ensure they’re recycled and remade into new bottles.

100% Recyclable
We are carefully designing our plastic bottles to be 100% recyclable, including the caps.
America’s beverage companies are committed to getting them back, so we can remake these valuable plastic bottles into new bottles.

How Does It Work?
Our plastic bottles are made of PET – the most valuable and recyclable plastic available.
Once these bottles get collected, they make their way to a materials recovery facility, where they’re separated from other plastics. The PET bottles are then cleaned, ground up and turned into recycled PET, or rPET – pellets that can then be used to make new bottles.

We Want Every Bottle Back
We’re working hard to get these bottles back, so that we can turn them into new ones. That way, we use less new plastic – and fewer bottles end up in rivers, oceans, and beaches.
That’s why we launched the Every Bottle Back initiative to reduce our industry’s plastic footprint. This unprecedented commitment from The Coca-Cola Company, Keurig Dr Pepper and PepsiCo is making significant investments to improve the collection of the industry’s valuable plastic bottles so they can be made into new bottles.

Working Together
Through our Every Bottle Back initiative, America’s beverage companies have partnered with organizations dedicated to increasing access to recycled materials and improving recycling infrastructure in communities where they can have the greatest impact.
Investing in partnerships with key environmental organizations – World Wildlife Fund, The Recycling Partnership and Closed Loop Partners – to modernize and improve community recycling and measure and track our progress is critical in helping get more of our bottles back and reducing plastic waste.

What's Next?
America’s beverage companies are always working to increase the amount of rPET in our plastic bottles.
The more recycled material we can use, the less new plastic we need to use.
So, increasing the available supply of rPET to meet that demand is critical.

Together, America’s beverage companies are committed to reducing plastic waste in our environment.
